Are You Backing Up Your Wordpress Site?

? I think the easiest way to construct a webshop is to use a CMS system. Systems are very popular and well-tested systems. And these systems are easy to use and simple to customize. I suggest that you choose WordPress. Why? So I will use any CMS system easily I'm a software developer, but my customers can't use most of the CMS systems. My experience is my customers can learn WordPress in a brief period and they can use it easily. And you will see at the end of this article WordPress is very user friendly.

By default, the newest version of WordPress is pretty secure. The development team of WordPress has considered anything which may have been added to any fix hacked wordpress plugins. In the past , WordPress did have holes but most of them are stuffed up.

The stronger approach, and the one I recommend, is to use one of the password creation and storage plugins available for your browser. Lots of people like RoboForm, but I think after a trial period, you have to pay for it. I use the free version of Lastpass, and I recommend it for those who use Firefox or Internet Explorer. That will generate secure passwords for you.

I don't think there's a person out there that after learning just how much of a problem WordPress hacking is that it's a fantastic idea. However is that when it comes to securing their sites, advice bloggers seem to be stuck in this state.

Imagine if you visit WP-Content/plugins, can you see that folder? If so, upload that blank Index.html file inside that folder as well so people can't view what plugins you have. Someone can use this to get access because if your version of WordPress is up to date, if you are using a plugin or an old plugin with a security hole.

Oh . And incidentally, I talked about plugins. When you get a plugin, make sure it's a safe one. Don't install any plugin just because the owner is saying that plugin can allow you to do that or this. Maybe use a test blog to check the plugin, or maybe get a software engineer to examine it carefully. This way isn't a threat for you or your business.
